Time Out

Cooper had to go to the emergency room Wednesday night because he was having trouble breathing. His chest X-ray indicated that he had pneumonia (which is going around, apparently). They released him at 2:30am (has anyone ever spent less than 5 hours at an ER? Not me.) We ended up going back 5 hours later, and they admitted him and kept him overnight.
He's home now, and doing much better. But, we're all pretty worn out. It was quite an ordeal.

Scat Chat

I think it's funny when I'm in a public restroom and I hear people talking on their cell phones while they're pooping. What do they say when the person on the other end of the line asks, "Hey man, what are you doing?" Ha ha! What about defecation-related background noise? How does one explain that away? "Oh, um, listen to those ducks will you!"

This is one of the most entertaining sites I've seen lately. It's a live feed of the photos, etc, that people all over the world are posting to their blogs. Amazing!

Now What?

I was under the impression that I would be able to run again after these surgeries. I found out today that I can't. At least, I shouldn't unless I want to develop arthritis in the near future.

I'm depressed.

Storyboard

I get to do a 30 second short that ties in with an upcoming SpongeBob episode. It's exciting because I've wanted to storyboard for awhile now.

Progress Report

How's my knee doing, you ask? Thank you for your concern! It's actually doing better than this picture would suggest. I drew it this way because it is a bit sore because I rode my bike to work and back for the first time since my surgery.

Labor Days

It's kind of ironic how taking Monday off to celebrate Labor Day resulted in me having to compress 5 days worth of labor into 4 days this week.
