LUX

Our good friend Lux passed away yesterday. We're all shocked and upset by this, and our hearts go out to Ivy.

What can I say about him? He was one-of-a-kind. You probably know him as the lead singer of The Cramps. He was one of the nicest, most creative guys I've ever known. He was definitely the coolest.

I have a lot of memories of him that I'm going to treasure, and we'll always have their music.

Rest in peace, and "stay sick!"

I knew Lux from my old NY rock daze. He was a terrific person. loved his creativity, his constant energy and the fact that he stayed so true to his rock and roll ideals.

hey, i´m gonna take advantage of the fact that i´m on the internet now which is something i don´t have at my fingertips anymore what with roaming my home country (argentina) and all, sans all the technology i gots at home (which in a sense is a good thing).

yeah i haven´t been "online" in a couple months and so i´m getting in on a major influx of posts from my favourite blogs. damn this site is awesome/fun/cool/heart warming.

hey thanks for the comment/s on my now-defunct muzak blog.

& all the best

your pal,

jack

Whoa! Did you know him personally, Kenny?

I have a video of the Cramps live in some mental hospital. It's probably one of my favorite shows ever committed to tape. They absolutely ROCKED that show and everyone was loving it.

what a great band! i would've killed to meet Lux, but I guess all I can get is stories now.
