From Above
There you are, going along to get along, minding your own wretched business when, out of the cold, infinite void, it bursts forth: Relentless! Merciless! You are as powerless as jelly against its onslaught! Does it pluck, or does it smash? What monster drives this appendage of crushing doom? What shall become of you?
Anyway, this doesn't refer to anything in particular. I just put together a couple drawings from the ol' sketchbook and made a little collage for ye.

Confrontation
Remember those Al Jaffee comics in Mad Magazine called "Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions"? Here's my tribute to Al.
The other day I was going to lunch with a friend, and as I drove through the parking garage of the restaurant, I saw that someone in a pickup truck was backing out in front of me. So, I just waited for him to finish backing out and go on his way. As he passed by he said, "You got a problem???" This came from completely out of the blue, and all I could think to say was, "No, I was just waiting for you to back out." I wish I'd come up with one of the snappy answers you see here.
What happened next, though, was kind of exciting: My friend yelled "F*CK You!!!" At the guy, and then the guy said, "What did you say?" To which my friend replied, "I said F*CK YOU!!!" Then the guy said something else, and blah blah blah. Nothing happened. Sorry.

Copilot
I was driving to work this morning, and I noticed a car behind me driving sort of aggressively (I wasn't on the freeway yet). I looked in the rear view mirror and saw that the driver was a grumpy old fart. His passenger was a pretty young lady and, to me, she seemed a little out of place. I couldn't put my finger on what was odd about the situation at first, but I quickly realized what it was: the pretty young lady in the passenger seat was a mannequin.
I guess the grumpy old fart really wanted to drive in the carpool lane. At least, I hope that's what it was...
