Triathlon

Here is what I looked like as I ran in the triathlon yesterday. I included two poses so you could get an idea of what I looked like in motion.
It was a lot of fun. I got up at 3:30am and drove up to Malibu where 2,000 other athletes and many more supporters, etc. were trying to park. I somehow met up with my teammates, Alan and Ginny (I didn't have their cell numbers and they didn't have mine-- good planning). It was all pretty hectic, especially in the "Transition Area" where the athletes had to go after each leg to either change shoes & stuff (for individual participants) or hand off the timing chip to the next team member (for the relay teams). By the time I got to run it was already sunny and getting warm.
I was pretty happy with how I ran because in the past I almost always went out too fast and ended up struggling toward the end of the race, be it a 5K or a marathon. This time I paced myself pretty well. It was a 4 mile run and I was shooting for 7 minutes per mile. I ended up averaging 7:03 per mile-- pretty close.
Next year I'll run 6 minute miles-- if I'm able to change my running form, that is.

Good form, man. Yeah! That's really cool how close you came to your goal of 7 minute miles. Cool!

gay form man drawings are great. I would like to see him in action (animation).
Keep up the good work with your body, soul, and JOB.
